Accessibility statement

What we commit to

Service 111 Business Computing Ltd. ("the Company") operates medicalsrv.co.il and treats accessibility as part of the service rather than an addition to it. Work went into making the site usable with a screen reader, with a keyboard alone, with enlarged text and in high contrast.

Conformance level

The site is built to meet the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 5773-2013, and Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on the W3C WCAG 2.1 guidelines at level AA.

What was implemented

• Full keyboard navigation, including a skip-to-content link at the top of every page and a clear focus indicator on every reachable element.
• Colour contrast calculated against level AA requirements in both light and dark mode. The core colours measure between 5.17:1 and 6.98:1.
• A correct, hierarchical heading structure so a screen reader can navigate the page.
• A text label on every form field, and error messages that are announced.
• Alternative text for every meaningful graphic, with decorative elements marked so a screen reader skips them.
• The operating system "reduce motion" setting is honoured: if you asked for less animation, you get less animation.
• Fully responsive layout, usable at up to 200 percent zoom without loss of content.
• The site exists in Hebrew and English, and the language attribute is set correctly on every page so a screen reader pronounces the text in the right language.

The accessibility toolbar

A button in the lower corner of every page opens an accessibility toolbar. It offers larger and smaller text, high contrast, inverted colours, greyscale, highlighted links, a readable font, wider spacing, stopped animation, a large cursor and a reading guide. Your choice is stored in your browser and carries to the next page.

Worth saying plainly: a toolbar is an aid, not a replacement for a site that is built correctly in the first place. Most of the work here was done in the code itself.

Known limitations

To the best of our testing, all content on this site is accessible. The site is updated from time to time, and a new element may occasionally not yet be fully adapted. If you encounter one, please tell us and we will fix it.
