We back up the studies, the database and the practice configuration, keep a copy off site, and restore from it for real every few months. If something does not come back, you hear it from us in advance.
What makes a backup you can rely on

What we find at new clients
When we take on a new practice, the first thing we do is restore from the existing backup onto a separate environment. Most of the time we find something.
The two most common faults: the studies are backed up but the database that ties them to patients was left out, or the copy everyone calls off-site sits on the same network with the same passwords, so it goes with everything else. Within a working day you have a clear answer and we can start talking about what to do.
