Making the equipment talk
Equipment that talks to your systems, without double entry.
Modalities connected to the PACS, a worklist that arrives from your system, and a result that returns to the patient record. Less double entry, fewer studies that go missing.

What gets connected
The full chain
- BookingThe patient is registered once. Their details flow from the system to the device, instead of being typed again at the scanner.
- ExamThe device receives a worklist. The technologist picks from the list, so there are no errors in name, ID number or study type.
- CaptureThe study lands in the PACS automatically. With every field in place, ready to read.
- ReadingThe physician reads and returns a report. The report attaches to the study and to the patient record.
- ResultsThe patient and the referring physician receive it. Over a secure, logged channel rather than a file in open email.
- LegacyOlder equipment too. A device that speaks partial DICOM gets a translation layer and stays in service.
Common questions
What we get asked about device integration
Our device is old. Do we have to replace it?
Usually not. Older devices speak a limited DICOM dialect, and a translation layer closes the gaps. We check that in the survey before recommending you spend money on a new device.
Who deals with the device vendor?
We do. Technical coordination with the manufacturer or distributor is ours, including node configuration and joint testing.
How long does connecting a device take?
When the infrastructure is already in place, a single device is usually a day's work including testing. The long part is always the coordination, not the configuration.
